Champions play a key role in making Enterprise Design work at scale. They promote shared language, support teams, and help connect scattered efforts into a more coherent whole.
You don’t need a formal role or a specific job title.

Champions are facilitators, educators, and contributors.
Some focus on internal change inside their organisation.
Others build public visibility and community impact.
Many do both.
Internal Champions build Enterprise Design capability inside their organisation.
They introduce EDGY to teams and leaders, facilitate alignment conversations,
support adoption, and share tools and maps that work in their context.
Their work helps build coherence and change readiness at scale.
External Champions contribute to the wider Enterprise Design community.
They speak at events, publish articles or case studies,
host local meetups or webinars, and contribute tools or learning content
to the EDGY platform.
Their work helps grow the field and connect practitioners across organisations.
Champions come from different industries and contexts.
What they share is applied experience and a willingness to share it.
Some use EDGY to align teams and shape transformation inside large enterprises.
Others apply it in facilitation and consulting work across clients and sectors,
bringing clarity to complex challenges.
To become a Champion, you need to be a Certified EDGY Practitioner
(Level 1),
use EDGY in real-world work, and be ready to speak about your experience.
Champions actively support others by mentoring, facilitating,
writing, speaking at Intersection events, or sharing tools and patterns.
Intersection Group supports Champions with coaching, visibility,
and peer learning opportunities.
