How to Make Sense of Enterprise Mess

In this interactive live discussion in preparation of this year's Intersection Conference, Abby Covert, the leading voice in Sensemaking and Information Architecture, will share insights from her twenty years of making sense with organisations.

We will be discussing questions like:

  • What kind of messes do you see in today's Enterprises?
  • Why is it so hard to shine a light on our messes and tame them?
  • How can we ever make sense of those messes, and how could that help in creating better Enterprises?
  • What is the nature of information? How is this related to language?
  • "Information Architecture" is usually used to describe website or app navigation structures. Is there a bigger meaning?
  • IA is also often used in the context of IT. How does your perspective on the field differ?
  • In what ways is Information Architecture helpful for strategy verbalisation and Enterprise Design?
  • How are “why”, “what”, and “how” related in an Enterprise context?
  • What is the best way to address the diverse subjective perspectives of the many co-creators required to realise better enterprises?

If you would like to have your questions discussed, please feel free to send them to hello@intersection.group.
