EDGY offers a collaborative and visually-oriented language and toolset for designing enterprises by considering different facets and their intersections. Estuarine Mapping, on the other hand, provides a framework for understanding the dynamics of complex systems by mapping the forces influencing them based on their changeability, ultimately informing strategic interventions. While distinct, both approaches aim to provide a more holistic and nuanced understanding of organizations and their environments.
EDGY gives us a method of mapping the enterprise. Estuarine Mapping gives us a framework for tapping into the evolutionary potential of the now to transform the organisation. Together these tools enable practice enterprise transformation in highly complex environments.
In this workshop we will introduce Estuarine Mapping and provide an approach for using it alongside Enterprise Design with EDGY to enable enterprise transformation.
