Viable System Model: putting people at the heart of Enterprise Design

A presentation that shows how enterprise design artifacts only begin to deliver real value to an organization when “animated” by drawing on the coordinated energy of business experts. We will draw on recent case studies to show how a practical application of Viable System Model (VSM) can facilitate an organic approach to business improvement, avoiding the disruptive and damaging effects of yet more corporate transformation and reorganization programmes.

This presentation aims to spark a debate: EDGY is a great visual language for creating enterprise design artifacts. How can Viable System Model approaches best leverage EDGY?
