A qualified IT and Insurance professional, Simon led a research team creating award-winning e-business technologies at IBM’s Zurich Research Lab from 1996 until 2003, where he also oversaw IBM’s European Insurance Research Center. He has since served as CTO of the UK’s Office for National Statistics, subsequently leading EA teams at Emirates, Admiral Group and the Bank of England. He spent five years as a Senior Executive Partner at Gartner advising business leaders in the Gulf region.
